More than 1 in 4 older adults report falling, resulting in 37 million falls each year. The rate of falls has increased tremendously over the past year. Many falls can be prevented! Here are 4 things you can do to prevent falls:1. Talk openly with your healthcare provider about fall risks & prevention--some medicines that you have been taking could work differently in your body as you get older (such as make you dizzier), so make sure your healthcare provider is kept up to date on everything you are taking.2. Exercise to improve your balance and strength--an example of a great exercise to try that tackles both balance and strength is Tai Chi.3. Have your eyes and feet checked--poor vision and improper footwear can increase your chances of falling.4. The Women, Infant, and Children clinic and program provides healthy food and other support to families. 

Our staff is trained to provide preventative, restorative, and emergency services and will work with you and your family to ensure these services are delivered in a timely, caring, and affordable manner.

We partner with community members and organizations to improve the health of our communities.

Nurse triage hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
